Who we are

BVCO was born out of Blue Ventures Conservation. The charity has had great success in protecting coral reefs and other marine systems over the years, but climate change threatens to undo much of this work and further degrade coral reefs.  BVCO was created in 2007 as a means to reduce global carbon emissions and benefit communities where Blue Ventures works.

BVCO supports several carbon reduction stove projects in Madagascar and South Africa, all of which benefit local communities' environment, economies, and health.
